The following is an overview of elements present in developing the Media Arts Technology Program:

·        Planning of program structure and content

·        Using the internet for conferencing with MATP advisors

·        Developing curriculum for specific classes and projects

·        Using supercomputing for the program, both at MCC and at MHPCC

·        Creating a worldwide outreach campaign

·        Designing and implementing strong, innovative distance delivery methods for the program

·        Working out articulation with high schools and other colleges and universities

·        Coordinating articulation between the credit and non-credit programs at MCC

·        Choosing hardware and software

·        Hiring or assigning faculty for the program

·        Choosing training programs that may help program faculty

·        Developing facilities

·        Fund-raising and equipment donations

·        Establishing appropriate corporate alliances

·        Developing community interest and needs surveys

·        Establishing MCC as a major center for developing and educating people in Media Arts Technology
